"How awesome! As I was reading that insert (our total helplessness...), I heard in my spirit, "When I said that if you lose your life for my sake, you shall find it, I meant lose it from your sense of self-salvation by being under the law." Truely our weak & beggarly attempts to keep the law as a means to be blessed and right with God blinds us from the reality of true humility in receiving everything dieing to self-salvation brings. As you stated, when we are 'totally helpless' we will empty any and all self-righteous attempts to save our life by trying to keep the law. Grace is heavens 'open arms' inviting all who are tired of self-salvation by the law and are ready to find their lives by losing it out from under the law through Christ, by Christ and in Christ! I love you!"

when you are obsessed with the laws like a rat obsessed with being trapped by snaps or a chronic need to apply premium soap to wash away your skin.
of course when you believe in something that regard your humanity as...."unclean", you need an extraordinary physician to address a cerebral disconnection somewhere?
btw, what laws have you broken or should not be breaking and can't seem to be able to keep that you need divine help to save you from eternal damnation?
can you be more specific and precise?

wrong. sin is not about "i am my own god" which is very subjective.
rather, sin is SOMEONE is god over you (or the masses) which leads to wars, corruption, poverty, sicknesses, deaths, condemnation and unending religious(non religious) and stupid conflicts.
Hi Anon...
this blog is really for those who are interested, looking into or love the message of grace...its here to encourage those in their grace walk with God....
its not here for people who have a beef with Christianity, want to argue their cause against such or hang out their every venomous opinion...you have had a lot to say for a while, none of which encourages me, it drains...
so i am going to ask you please to refrain from using this blog as a forum for your ideas...
Thanks
it's public blog and you are reaching out to the public with your theology so as a member of the public, i am just querying your theology or theories.
you don't need an excuse to.."murder" you know.
you are what you are, like the rests.
but i rather you explain your rationale to all of us in peace and respect for those who would disagree with you.
i beilieve i asked a legitimate question.
why do you, like many of your kind, regard our humanity or being human, "sinful"?
we are what we are, including you, because we are human..
what's your response to that?
I'm not quite sure if you are able to access Craig's (public) website, or all of his BIBLICALLY SUPPORTED comments throughout many of these conversations, but I'm pretty convinced that Craig has "explained his rationale" in repetitive detail!
If Craig still "is what he is" after more than 30 comments, then I suggest take some time to chew on what he has said, or move on to the next grace preacher...
Disagreeing is wonderful, I actually think it is healthy (keeps one thinking and on their toes you know), but once again (and i speak for myself here), but if someone's opinion is not somehow supported by scripture (in its correct context) I'm not interested.
I have changed many views, opinions and traditions in my life (agonizingly i might add) due to this "policy" of ONLY abiding in the word of God.
Does this make me ("us") perfect, not at all, but i can tell you for sure that the adjustments i've made in my life do not sway on popular belief (the bible says, "let God be true and all man a liar", which means that the anchor of my belief and reliance on God's grace and goodness will not be swayed at all, not even if a million more "Anonymous'" contribute what's been put up so far (does this make me "unteachable"? NO! the moment you attach appropriate scripture to your statements i will certainly and sincerely look into it - to agree or refute - you know...meat and bones...).
instead of answering to the question, you take us to an unnecessarily roller coaster ride of irrelevant detractions
we need to be straight if we are to make some sense of each other.
the gospel is in fact....simmple,rational and not confusing.
"let God be true and all man a liar",
for instance, you quote the above to probably make you sound "sound".
there are over 30 000 denominations that can quote that to you and where do you suppose that kind of dialogue will lead to?
it proves nothing and the bible says, faith without works(proves) is a dead faith.
Just a little confused before trying to respond.
What are you meaning by "being human"?
I agree that the gospel is simple - and this is why i am beginning to hate blogs, because there is no human interaction (exchanging of sincere emotion and tone - punctuation is very limitted) - and sorry about seeming to have detracted, i was still responding to a previous statement you made by the time you commented again...
Anyway, i'm not sure where this conversation is at the moment, but I agree that much of our experiences in life does not match our teaching on grace - generally speaking (while much does). Does this qualify it as hypocrisy, maybe in some cases (it would be foolish of me to generalise - many "christians" are hypocrites, even many who profess to embrace the grace of God. But surely that does not nullify the fact concerning true freedom in the gospel), the bible says that "grace TEACHES us to say no to ungodliness" (process). Becoming a christian does not automatically make one perfect, it's only the start of a journey...a journey that the bible refers to as being an increase "from glory to glory"...
I don't know...elaborate on your view of the gospel...
in regard to grace, i had already make my case...the simplest and the most logical explanation even an atheist will not have problem assimilating
let me reiterate. there is nothing hocus pocus about grace or being gracious(read my comment in the previous post). we need to see beyond the cloak of religious language to understand its political implication on the laws of subjugation
the gospel, amd i assume we are reading the same book, make complete sense to me or ANYONE if viewed from a political perspective- everyone and anyone who is human is against corruption and injustices or unless you are some kind of alien.
christianity makes the struggle with the laws WITHIN when it should be...WITHOUT - the abuse of laws to rob, steal and murder etc
"from glory to glory"...
again, another quote which makes no sense because, who is to define what "glory to glory" means?
are we to pick the minds of 30 000 denomination who will probably tell is 30 000 version of what "glory" is suppose to mean?
do you know that the people accuse jesus of messing with ...politics in the bible?
ask yourself this: why would the romans put someone to the cross for preaching...your past, present and future sins have been washed by the blood of the lamb etc etc?
these kingdom conquerers will probably laugh and mock you, instead of skewer you on a stick, for preaching such a HARMLESS gospel.
no, jesus was crucified because his gospel was politically defiant - especially to caesar( there is no other king except caesar who was GOD to his people)
You are of the groups that believe in replacement theology (the Jews, Hebrews are no longer the Chosen!)
Don't you believe man; ask Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ the Messiah). Ask Him to guide your every footstep from this day forth! Do you ever study the Word for yourself? When you get away from that traditional preaching, you know the ones that celebrate Christmas, Easter and Trick or Treat for Halloween you will come to the light! Read the Bible for yourself, please don't meet Him Face to Face without reading His Word from cover to cover. You have read all of the others, now you need to read His Word, both the Older and Newer Testaments in the Holy Bible. I have had a preacher tell me face to face that tongues was of another dispensation and I walked away not believing him, too late I already had read it in the Bible. I had never heard anyone speak in tongues and didn't know how to receive, I asked Yeshua, myself for the gift of tongues...
Shalom, Shalom...
