NO OTHER MESSAGE!

"It is imperative that we as Grace believers should see the Gospel in the light of the finished work of the cross. Paul had one message and that is what Jesus accomplished for humanity on the cross as a revelation of our lives, 1 Cor 2:2; For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified; that was his message and that is what he preached and wanted all men to know and understand, he had no other message."

...and grace, dependance on Him.

"The way of grace is one of utter dependence upon Him. No matter how much knowledge we may have, that will never enable us to live righteously before God. When we live under grace, we live in a moment by moment dependence upon Him. As we do, God supplies us with His Spirit (Gal. 3:5; Phil. 1:19). Jesus said: "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing" (Jn. 15:5, NASB)."

The law fosters independance from God

"The legal principle (the law) requires man to carry out commandments. A person living under law must know the law and then must obey it. So, man’s knowledge and man’s effort are both required. This type of situation fosters man’s independence from God. Can you see in this what seems to have been typified by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden? To live by such knowledge simply means that if one only knows what to do then one can do it. Thus man can be righteous by his own efforts and is independent from God."

Seekers of Christ

Bear in mind, when say "law", i mean the 10 commandments as well as any "rules and regulations" as stipulated be church leadership of today...these rules and regulations will be laid out for the believer as a means of growing closer to God, earning His blessing or growing in spirituality...

OUR PEACE!

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The peace we have with God is not dependent on our performance but on the righteousness of Jesus. Peace is the emotion that is in the heart of man when he knows he has no debt. We have no debt before God because wherever we fell short of righteousness by our works, Jesus supplied our deficit, as a gift. The reason we have peace is simply because we measure up to the standard of God. We couldn't say that until Jesus (the Son of God) climbed onto our side of the scale and balanced the whole thing out between us and God. Never do we need to feel that we come short of holiness, righteousness or any standard of qualification. We can have the peace of God – we don’t come short in JESUS.

Jesus gave us His peace not as the world gives but true peace He gave us.. The peace that the world gives is purely based on the “if you pay you don’t have to worry” basis. The peace of Jesus (the peace that He has) is based on the fact that Jesus is perfect before the Father, in His likeness and image.

HE GAVE US HIS PEACE!!!

Justified by His faith

The greatest thing God is concerned about is if you know that He loves you. His love for you is not merely contained in day to day emotions based on your performance. His love has been manifested in one act that is the solid foundation from where we can experience his love for us. That act is simply what Jesus has done on behalf of man. We rest our minds in the fact that He has died the death of the law man, the man that seeks righteousness and justification by His works, and that He was resurrected for our justification. With this truth in place we will never run short of righteousness, holiness or any godly attribute because by this truth God makes his dwelling in man and in such a way we see God live in our lives.

In the following scripture we can see the working of this great love which is that we are justified by His faith. His faith brought the justification and our belief in that gives us access into this wonderful truth.
Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Submit to God by allowing God to renew your mind

I thought this was pretty good...

"Know this, that when you become a child of God, nothing can separate you from his love. He will never ever condemn you for anything that you will likely do or are doing that is against his will after you become a Christian (a child of God, a believer in Jesus Christ).

He will not take you to the woodshed as many ministers claim today. He lovingly disciplines a child of God. If you think that you have disappointed God, you are very far from the truth. Turn away from your prideful sin of thinking that those works of "yours" are worth anything to God to begin with, instead of understanding that it is his "good works" through you being everything.

Submit to God by allowing God to renew your mind with a thankful and humble heart today. Agree with God this moment in time, that Jesus took away the sin you have committed, will commit, and are committing; never to see it or hold it against you ever again. Behold, The Lamb of God, that took away the sins of the world. Rejoice!, I say again rejoice in the Lord always! Thank You Jesus."

Grace glories in the Cross

Grace glories in the Cross,
it glories in the finished work of the cross,
it glories in Jesus' sacrifice on my behalf,
it glories in the fact that i am righteous apart from my works
it glories in the absolute goodness of God
it glories in my triumph over condemnation
it glories in the unconditional love of God
and it glories in my reigning in life...
Grace glories in the Cross.

Still in the shadows of grace!

"I can say those things a thousand times and I still feel good every time! Increased revelation on that! We are still in the shallows in grace! Increased release of financial prosperity! Increased love for one another, the lost in our city and in the nations! Increased signs and wonders! Increased rest! Increased peace! While we work we are at rest! Increased fruitfulness! Do less - see more happen! Sneeze and people get healed! The effortless realm of the glory where you do less and less, try less and less and He does more and more! I want increase!"

We are still in the shallows in grace! Take us deeper Lord...DEEPER, DEEPER, DEEPER

grace gives you space and time to grow

"It is time for us to go into inheritance. The power of God can break strongholds tonight. Don't be passive any moment of your life! Don't give in even for a moment! Conformation without transformation is motivated by guilt and fear of rejection from man or God. If you can get free from fear of man - you are truly free. Transformation is because grace gives you space and time to grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ - to renew your mind in a steady sphere of progress." Rob Rufus

I like that... "grace gives you space and time to grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ"...its grace that teaches us to grow into all that God has called us to be...God wants you to be you and He wants me to be me...He doesn’t want me to be Jesus, there was only one Jesus, who walked in step with the Spirit...He wants me to be in the likeness, that’s something like Jesus….but how do I get like that you ask...grow in grace, 'cause grace teaches...teaching takes time...you don’t learn something overnight

if you are struggling with something, get your hands on grace teachings, grace mp3's...listen over and over, stew in them, revel in them, marinade in them...and you WILL change...not talking about holiness...I'm talking about doing that which you should do as the Holy Spirit leads and not doing that which you shouldn't do as the Holy Spirit leads and this is what every believer desires!......you will learn that the Holy Spirit LOVES you, He will guide you, you WILL get to know His voice...but stick on grace, don't leave...even if everybody else says your crazy...don't waiver...hang in there...listen to grace!!

Because...
Titus 2:11 says "Grace teaches us to say NO to ungodliness..." grace, grace, grace....

PS...

I once heard a Pastor of a local church say "we don't preach grace or law, we preach Jesus"...
that's a cop out...go and read the New Testament, Paul preached Jesus, of course, but he had much to say about grace and much to say about law...go look in Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Titus, Colossians...the list goes on...in almost every book he wrote he speaks on the absolute dichotomy of grace and law...
