Die to self ???

"The gospel is first a ‘seeing’ before it is a ‘doing’, not even your dying is a doing, it is seeing that you have died in His death; He actually died your death! Rom.6:11, 1Cor.1:30. So much of religious energy is wasted on useless attempts to do things that are already done; to become something you already are! Because of ignorance, Christianity has become much like Buddhism; people have become totally engaged in a fruitless but constant effort to die to self."
