Go on, take a leap, preach grace !!

"FAITH IS NOT A BLIND LEAP INTO THE DARK, ITS A LEAP INTO THE LIGHT." Rob Rufus

To embrace this message of grace, the gospel of grace, is a leap of faith...there is no doubt about it. We started a church called Gracelife a few months back, and i can tell you it has been a leap of faith...not to start a church for starting a church's sake...no...i believe anybody, with the right charisma and the right leadership skills, with enough drive can start a church, but it will probably become "same old" because he will use all the "right" building principles, all the "right" marketing strategies, all the "right" commitment slogans, all the secular world uses to grow something...then when it does grow and it will, he will say "God did it"....

We started Gracelife because we believe in this message, we believe God will honour it....He already is!!

We want to preach nothing but acceptance grace, if you want to be commited sir or ma'am, be commited to the message of grace, be committed to growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ....let God build...let God "fashion and shape", let God add, yes, let God build....its His Bride, His Church, His building........just let us preach the "right" message, the right gospel, "freedom in the grace of Christ"...i tell you it takes faith, security in Him, trust in Him...but its exciting......people have said, "its too much freedom, it won't grow, it wont work"...lets wait and see shall we, lets wait and see...

He is Faithfull...

Good job Craig! A "Smallest Brother" in the Lord who preaches Grace is much much better that a "Biggest Brother" who preaches legalism. Grace sets people free and legalism binds.

When you preach Grace, He is behind you. If you preach legalism, the Pharisee is behind you!

Craig,
Wonderful blog here! So happy to have found another brother, who speaks the Love and Grace of Father/Son/Holy Spirit!

If you have not yet already, please feel free to visit my blog, comment, and even perhaps add me to your blogroll.

I am looking forward to reading more of your posts here.

Blessings,

Craig, love it. I just wish you guys were here in Vermont! Loved this statement, “be committed to the message of grace, be committed to growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ....let God build…let God "fashion and shape", let God add, yes, let God build....its His Bride, His Church, His building..…”
When acceptance grace is preached your spirit gets so juiced up that all he wants to do is reciprocate God’s love. This Good News of God’s grace is so tangible, God so moves through grace, that you can‘t help but be changed from within. Through that His church is formed! Keep it coming brother. Blessing upon blessing on you and Gracelife. Jim Hoag.

it's funny how the bible makes sense now...in the past i always used to MAKE things fit, if they didnt i would say, "must be me, truth in tension, it must fit, my experience must bend to fit"..now it fits, with my experience, with my understanding, because with grace Gods word works.

How long ago did you start having church? We're finding it so different building a church with the simplified agenda of preaching the gospel, loving people and watching God set them free. Sometimes it's really tempting to 'help' God build though! It's easy to look at the natural and veiw people according to the flesh, including ourselves, when there's a whole other level of action going on if we have eyes of faith.

juls, you are so right...hows this dream someone had...

I want to share a dream I had recently. I spoke about it at church and Lez and Ant said they would like a copy if you can forward it to them. They said Rob Rufus may be interested as well.

I dreamt that men, women and children of all ages were dressed as warriors and fighting a war. Some were locked in stocks, others were tied on very high stakes. Some were fighting on the ground. The fighting was intense but it was a war of words. People were fighting for and standing for what they believe in. The phrase rulers of the world -those in influence, kept on coming up. The fighting was intense but it seemed as if the 'believers' were losing the battle. Although those opposing the stand were mocking and persecuting the 'believers' they were taking in what was said and what was happening and had a grudging admiration for their stand.

But then the "believers on the ground became despondent because they began to feel that they were losing the battle had no influence and were beginning to doubt and were impatient for something to happen. So they started to make things happen. They made fake wings, put them on their backs, so that they could look more 'spiritual'. Even though those on the high stakes could 'see' into the future they also succumbed and made wings too. I recognised Rob as one of them.

Those opposing them looked at them in disgust, disappointed they walked away.

I believe this is a warning not to become despondent and to be tempted to act in the flesh and not in the spirit. Ground is been gained although at times it doesn't feel like it. Much will be lost if we try and make things happen!

I'm not sure if this is relevant but most of the women were in the kitchen washing dishes while the fighting was going on.

Lots of love
Louisa
